Happy 21 Months!

Sydney is 21 months. She is a funny little person and loves to make people laugh. Her favorite "game" is to "scare" friends and family. She will say "boo" and the recipient has to act scared and say "oh no." Sydney still loves the outdoors and this month has been helping Daddy build her new rock slide mound. She also loves to play with sidewalk chalk, balls, sand, and push her stroller. Her big milestone this month is that Sydney is mostly potty trained and we said "bye bye, diapers."  After her visit to LA, she was very impressed with Zoe's sticker chart and ability to use the potty. So when we came back, Sydney led the process and Momma and Daddy helped with some stickers, praise, and the occasional cookie. Sydney has started to request specific songs by name and can even sing some lyrics. Her favorites this month are "Tinkle, tinkle star" (Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star) and "Hello" (Hello, Everybody - from music class). She is learning more colors, but still has a preference to purple. Sydney still counts to two and sometimes will help Momma count to 10 by saying all the even numbers.
